I’m so honored I had the opportunity to design this instructographic for a brand new, totally awesome, must-have Pinterest tool: PinAlerts – Like Google Alerts but for tracking pins made on Pinterest. This is my first instructographic as a digital designer and it was SO much fun!
I loved working with the owners to make just the right graphic…they were so encouraging throughout the whole process. It’s so cool to work with people who have a clear idea what they want, yet flexible and open enough to my graphic-ideas. For example, they were open to some cool surprises, that I wanted to design like the customized social media images I designed one-by-one to match their logo’s “pin”…that’s probably one of my most favorite things of this graphic…would you agree?
I also, picked the colors and researched dozens of instructographics to find the most pinnable-pretty, easy-to-read, easy-to-understand placement of text, images, etc.
Want to Promote PinAlerts too?
Yay, I designed all their cool buttons & badges too. Please pick one, and help spread the link love…while, you’re at it, we’d love a teeny-tiny link-love credit too.
Seeking Your Kind Feedback
So, do we look like amateur digital designers? Please be honest…we can only improve by kind critiques and sincere feedback. I’m only 11 years old, so I have plenty of years to hone in on my skill set.
As for PinAlerts, a great way to use them are to follow your own blog or website, so you can thank pinners…but, we’re using it to stay on top of blogs and websites we like too…and finding our what gets pinned the most. Let us know how you plan to use PinAlerts in your business below.

Very descriptive post, I enjoyed that bit.
Will there be a part 2?
