As you may know, we’re getting are hands dirty with digital designs, and we worked with our first logo re-design here. Our proud Auntie sent us a funny email with all these really awesome, cool, like-WOW-I-didn’t-see-that kind of subliminal graphic genius inside and within each of these logos!
While we love them all, my sisters and I really love the Pittsburgh Zoo logo the best!
We always knew about FedEx and Tostitos, maybe because we use/eat both brands a lot. The Eighty20 was the geekiest, coolest, most surprising. We KNEW it had to mean something, we were thinking deeply, #s, squares, odd placement, etc…but, then we gave up and just rolled down for the answer.

Do you see the arrow between the “E” and “x”? 2nd and 3rd “t’s” are two people sharing a tortilla over a bowl of salsa. Probably the world’s most famous bike race. The “R” in “Tour” is a cyclist – yellow circle front wheel of bicycle.
There is a bear if you look closely at image of Matterhorn. Toblerone chocolat
 See “31” embedded in the “B R”?? Thirty one-derful flavors!!! Northwest Airlines. Circle is a compass. Guess which direction the arrow in upper left corner (or beginning of “W”) is pointing?
Smiley face is also a “g” as in “goodwill”.
 Used to be the emblem for the Milwaukee Brewers. Baseball glove forms an “M” and a “B”. Logo was designed by a college art student. |
